歡迎來到臺灣觀察性健康資料研究學會（OHDSI Taiwan Society）！

臺灣觀察性健康資料研究學會（OHDSI Taiwan Society）為全球非營利健康資料研究聯盟 OHDSI（The Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics）在臺唯一授權分會。OHDSI 由哥倫比亞大學領銜創立，致力於推動全球健康資料的標準化應用與跨國協作研究，目前已涵蓋全球 83 個國家、600 多個研究機構。

臺灣於 2020 年加入 OHDSI 全球社群，並於 2022 年依法設立全國性學會組織。學會由北醫數據處團隊率先推動，在醫院、學術、產業與政府之間積極建立合作網絡，推動臨床資料國際接軌與健康資料的創新應用。

三年多來，我們持續扮演亞太地區的關鍵節點，並已成功主辦：

• 2022 第三屆 OHDSI Asia-Pacific Symposium（台北）

• 2024 臺灣健康數據科學年會（Taiwan Health Data Science Forum）

本學會的核心使命包含：

• 推動健保與醫院 EMR 資料之標準化模型（OMOP-CDM）

• 支援臨床研究與 AI 應用模型的多中心驗證與部署

• 強化產學研界對真實世界證據（RWE）的產出與應用能力

• 協助政府推動資料治理、法規科學與政策透明度提升

• 培育能結合教學、研究、數據實作與國際接軌的跨域人才

我們亦主導開發MediPlug 自動轉換工具並成功導入實用場域，並正協助越南建立 OHDSI 分會與資料標準化工程，展現台灣在亞太地區的技術領導力與國際合作價值。

未來，學會將持續拓展會員網絡，誠摯邀請各界加入，共同推進台灣健康資料在全球的研究影響力與創新應用。

Welcome to the OHDSI Taiwan Society!

The OHDSI Taiwan Society is the officially authorized local chapter of the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) — a global, non-profit research alliance led by Columbia University. OHDSI is dedicated to the standardization and collaborative use of health data to enable real-world evidence generation across disciplines and borders. To date, OHDSI has connected over 600 institutions across 83 countries worldwide.

Taiwan joined the OHDSI global community in 2020 and formally established its national society in 2022. Spearheaded by the Taipei Medical University data science team, OHDSI Taiwan actively promotes collaboration among hospitals, academia, government, and industry, advancing clinical data standardization and innovative applications of health data.

Over the past three years, we have emerged as a key node in the Asia-Pacific region and successfully hosted:

• The 3rd OHDSI Asia-Pacific Symposium (2022, Taipei)

• The 2024 Taiwan Health Data Science Forum

Our core missions include:

• Promoting standardized modeling of NHI and EMR data using the OMOP Common Data Model (CDM)

• Supporting multi-center validation and deployment of AI-powered clinical decision tools

• Empowering academia and industry to generate and apply real-world evidence (RWE)

• Assisting government agencies with data governance, regulatory science, and policy transparency

• Cultivating cross-disciplinary talents who integrate teaching, research, hands-on data work, and global engagement

We also led the development and deployment of MediPlug, an automated CDM conversion tool, and are currently assisting in the establishment of the Vietnam OHDSI node, further demonstrating Taiwan's leadership in data innovation and regional collaboration.
